RANK STRUCTURE
I have put all the ranks in a straight path just for the sake of listing information
1. Peasant (?)
* no responsibilities and is basically on a
probationary status to determine if they are
going to stay in the guild.
2. Commoner (?)
* no major responsibilities...the first step in
being an actual guild member.
3. Soldier (?)
* no major responsibilities…by this point
the member should be familiar with the
rules and regulations of the guild and be
assigned to a squad (each squad is lead by
a Knight who is under the command of a Noble)
...this Knight will help acclimate the member
into the guild further and give input on what
direction the member will be taking, as well as,
what contributions they may be able to make.
Ex. Political or Military path and
additional responsibilities if they plan on
choosing the Political path.
4. Noble (12)
* will have 2 votes they can cast on each issue
brought before the guild.
* will be assigned a responsibility.
* note: ranks 4 and 5 are equivalent, but rank 4
has a say in the direction and workings of the
guild.
5. Knight (24)
* reached status of being an essential member in
the guild, but chose not to have votes and or
major responsibilities.
* note: ranks 4 and 5 are equivalent, but rank 5
has no say in the direction and workings of the
guild. However, they do share the same privileges
as far as the guild bank etc etc.
6. Duke (6)
* status of being a senior member within the guild
and receives enhanced privileges as well as
additional responsibilities.
* will have 5 votes they can cast on each issue
Brought before the guild.
* note: ranks 6 and 7 are equivalent, but rank 6
has a say in the direction and workings of the
guild.
7. Field Marshal (6)
* status of being a senior member in the guild.
* note: ranks 6 and 7 are equivalent, but rank 7
has no say in the direction and workings of the
guild. However, they do share the same privileges
as far as the guild bank etc etc.
8. Lord (3)
* a primary member within the guild.
* has extensive responsibilities in the
management of the guild.
* each lord will have a specialization field
of responsibility and secondary responsibilities
shared by all the lords.
* will have 10 votes they can cast on each issue
brought before the guild.
9. Bishop (1)
* will have 12 votes they can cast on each issue .
* acts as Sire in his absence.
* will coordinate with the lords on all guild matters.
* responsible for allocation of guild funds.
10. Sire (1)
* will have 20 votes for each issue voted on and the power to decide on tie breakers.
The Sire will have Veto power on all votes and must sign off on a vote
before it officially becomes law.
* will coordinate with the Bishop on all guild matters and coordinate with lords on
essential matters.
Note: if the between the Congress, Senate, and Lords there is an issue with 90% of the vote it will automatically override a veto on its second attempt to be passed.
When all Ranks are filled the best members will be considered for promotions when openings become available.
